The Stuff We Eat

Welcome to Stuff We Eat, a new blog dedicated to sharing our love of food and the stuff we eat.  We want to share with you some of the cool and interesting things we see and try, ideas we have about how to make food fun, interesting, and enjoyable as it is for us!

I apologize in advance for some most of the pictures we will be posting on here for their poor quality...we are not food stylists, we just like to capture a lot of the food we eat on our phones in bad restaurant lighting and the flash only helps so much.  I hope that the imagery and descriptions though are enough to make you salivate as we often do over the Stuff We Eat.

To start the blog off on a memorable note, I am going to tell the tale of an awesome Lamb Sausage that I had a while back at the Mile End Deli in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. The sausage was served with some fried garbanzo beans and baba ganoush. It was delicious!  The plate was delicious, it had just the right amount of salty-ness to it and had a great acid added to it to help balance it all out.  The garbanzo beans were nice and crispy and when everything was eaten together in one bite, it was an explosive orgasm of flavor in my mouth.

I would also recommend their smoked meat sandwich which I would consider to be a signature dish. We originally tried the smoked meat over the summer while at Brooklyn Flea in Williamsburg.  It is a must at some point in your life (especially if you love pastrami).

Well that is all for now...look forward to sharing more with you soon!
